Our Team
In August 2020, lifelong friends Jay Cooper and Matthew Monsour became roommates in East Lansing, MI. At the time, Matthew was completing his Degree in Finance at Michigan State University, while Jay was studying at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. Matthew met Vinnie while working at the Broad College of Business on campus. Vinnie also shared a passion for cooking. Matthew soon introduced Jay to Vinnie. What quickly transpired were many nights in Unit #405 where friends would gather and enjoy cooking and hospitality from Jay, Vinnie, and Matthew. That is where the concept of 405 Hospitality Group was developed. Fast forward today, with the additinal support and assistance from Spencer Lukas, 405 Hospitality has grown into a fully operational business servicing private-dinners, catering events, and much more.
